Who We Are Surf or Sound Realty is Hatteras Island's premier property management company. Since 1978, we have offered Hatteras Island vacation rentals from family beach cottages to expansive oceanfront estates with a wide range of luxury amenities. We serve more than 100,000 happy Hatteras Island vacationers each year.

Overview

: The Channel Manager will oversee our third-party listings on Vrbo and [please apply online] playing a key role in maximizing revenue through strategic channel optimization. This role will leverage data insights to adjust listings and ensure our properties remain competitive and generate bookings.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Manage and optimize listings on Vrbo, [please apply online] and other assigned channels, ensuring competitive pricing, compelling content, and maximum visibility.
• Implement strategies to consistently achieve and maintain Vrbo Premier Host status.
• Monitor market trends and competitor listings to retain a competitive edge.
• Proactively solicit guest reviews and respond promptly to all feedback, adhering to brand voice.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align channel management with overall business objectives.
• Create and maintain reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) against established targets.
• Develop and nurture strong relationships with Vrbo and Booking.com account managers. Minimum

Requirements

:

• 2-year degree from an accredited university or related experience in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related major.
• 1+ year (s) experience using vacation rental management software and various online booking platforms (Vrbo, [please apply online] Expedia, Homes & Villas by Marriott).
• Proven track record of increasing revenue and bookings through effective channel management strategies.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
• Ability to relocate to within 30 miles of Hatteras Island.

Preferred Qualifications

:

• 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university or related experience in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related major.
• 3+ years experience in the revenue management, sales and marketing, or related area.
• Currently resides within 30 miles of Hatteras Island. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Experience:
