Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and an eagerness to assist customers in finding the products that best meet their needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products, driving sales through effective communication.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and ensuring products are well-displayed.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Apply retail math skills to manage inventory levels, track sales trends, and assist in stock management.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall sales performance. Experience
• Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; training will be provided for candidates without prior experience.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.
