Elysium Tile is looking for a Business Development Manager to improve our brand recognition and grow our sales and market share with a large national client. This is an exciting opportunity to create action plans and sales strategies that will help us reach our growth initiatives -- including new customer acquisition and client optimization. This position is based out of our Palmetto, Florida location and requires overnight travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify and research potential clients
• Strengthen current client relationships while establishing new relationships
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
• Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Attend trade shows and conferences as needed
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Perform other duties as assigned by management Skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales or Marketing
• 3 or more years sales experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, preferably in the materials industry
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
• Familiarity with the industry including equipment, logistics and supply-chain management
• Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
• Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
• Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients
• Maintain a valid state driver's license Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
