Compensation

: $90,000-$190,000 annually

• Base Salary: $90,000-$110,000
• Performance-based incentives available

Position Summary

: We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our freight brokerage sales team. This role is pivotal in developing long-term client relationships, executing strategic sales initiatives, and building a high-performance sales organization to achieve aggressive revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to maximize revenue opportunities through strategic market and lane expansion.
• Design, implement, and lead effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.
• Recruit, onboard, and mentor Business Development and Sales team members.
• Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of CRM system to support sales operations.
• Develop and execute training programs to enhance team performance and ensure consistent growth.
• Drive overall sales performance and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and support to the sales team.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with customer expectations.
• Set and monitor ambitious sales goals, KPIs, and benchmarks.
• Attend customer meetings with sales representatives to support relationship management and business growth.
• Generate and present sales reports and forecasts to leadership.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications

:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in outside freight sales.
• At least 2 years of management experience, including team training and development.
• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and drive substantial revenue growth in a freight brokerage environment.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
