Are you interested in product development - providing technical support and evaluating seed variety trials? Do you have experience in Agriculture, the seed business or production? If so, you are the Product Development Specialist we are looking for to join our Rijk Zwaan USA Team in Salinas, California. The vacancy for a Product Development Specialist at Rijk Zwaan USA - Western Region: The Product Development Specialist is responsible for developing Rijk Zwaan seed business in the Western Region. Within this role, you are responsible for organizing and following variety trials in consultation with Rijk Zwaan staff, distributors, growers and cooperating companies with a focus on vegetables. In addition, you are also responsible for the introduction and sales of the total Rijk Zwaan open field product development activities for all outdoor varieties in the Western USA. The position is based at our Salinas, California Office. We are seeking a Product Development Specialist with the following criteria:

• BS, or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field
• Experience in agriculture, seed business or production is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interest in Ag industry
• Ability to develop good long term industry relationships
• Team oriented Excellent
