Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to connect with customers, ensuring they have an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales through effective upselling techniques, product demonstrations, and maintaining an organized store environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and encourage purchases.
• Utilize upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure the store is visually appealing and well-stocked.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Proficiency in basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Ability to operate POS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
