OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to service and sell insurance benefits in the Medicare/Senior market. As an Account Executive in the Senior market, you will be responsible for selling new, retaining existing, and completing service work for Medicare- related benefit in the over/under age 65 market. This is a tremendous opportunity to enter the insurance market with an established referral feed providing opportunities to sell and increase your book of business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers - Partner with people in other markets to receive referrals and write new business leads. - Complete service work with assigned accounts, responding promptly and accurately - Consult with clients on overall insurance programs - Maintain good carrier relationships - Cross-sell agency services when appropriate PERFORMANCE: Approximately 70% of time spent on sales/consulting, 25% of time spent on retention/service, and 5% of time on personal/organizational development.
