Store Manager Spicer Greene Jewelers - Asheville, NC Are you passionate about fine jewelry, luxury sales, and leadership? Spicer Greene Jewelers, a 4th generation, family-owned business with nearly 100 years of excellence, is looking for a dynamic individual to take on a leadership role encompassing Store Manager, Sales Manager, and Estate Buying Manager responsibilities.

About the Role

This position is a rare opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage estate buying, and lead a talented team in our Asheville location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury retail, fine jewelry expertise, and a passion for both sales and training.

Compensation

: $85,000 base salary per year plus incentive.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, train, and motivate the sales and buying teams to achieve store-wide success.
• Foster a work environment that aligns with the company's culture, goals, and objectives.
• Recruit, hire, and train top-quality sales professionals and estate buyers.
• Conduct ongoing sales training, weekly meetings, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Monitor Client Outreach efforts to enhance customer relationships.
• Ensure team accountability in sales, Client Outreach, and performance metrics. Sales & Customer Experience
• Maintain and exceed both individual and store-wide sales goals.
• Assist customers with expert guidance on fine jewelry, gemstones, and precious metals.
• Provide personalized recommendations and ensure a luxury shopping experience.
• Coach and assist staff in closing high-value sales.
• Monitor lost sales opportunities and conduct brainstorming sessions for improvement. Estate Buying & Inventory Management
• Evaluate and purchase antique and estate jewelry, Pre-owned watches and precious metals.
• Maintain buying protocols to ensure consistent and profitable acquisitions.
• Track and analyze key buying metrics to optimize performance.
• Assist in closing buy transactions and maintaining accurate buying records. Operations & POS System Management
• Fully utilize and train the team on the POS system for seamless transactions.
• Ensure accurate data entry of customer contact details, special occasions, and purchase history.
• Generate reports to support Client Outreach efforts and customer outreach.
• Maintain the store's luxurious and visually appealing appearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Jewelry Store Manager, Sales Manager, or in a similar leadership role in a luxury retail setting.
• Strong expertise in estate jewelry buying and evaluating precious metals.
• GIA Graduate Gemologist certification (preferred) or currently in progress.
• Demonstrated success in sales leadership and team training.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
