Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will assist in driving sales through effective communication, product knowledge, and a strong understanding of retail operations.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for processing transactions.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling protocols.
• Utilize basic math skills to manage sales transactions and provide change as needed.
• Communicate product features and benefits effectively to encourage upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory management tasks, including stock counts and product replenishment.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math proficiency for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
• Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to upsell products and contribute to sales goals through effective selling techniques.
• Previous retail experience is a plus but not mandatory; a positive attitude is essential.
• Must be able to work Fridays 10:30AM - 5:30PM, Saturdays and Sundays 1:00PM - 5:30PM.
