Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the showroom and create a positive first impression.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Assist customers by gathering information about their flooring needs when a Sales Consultant is unavailable.
• Schedule in-home measurement appointments and installation dates.
• Place product orders with vendors and monitor order status.
• Maintain the showroom sample checkout log.
• Ensure product displays remain organized, fully stocked, and visually appealing.
• Prepare and enter estimates, contracts, work orders, invoices, and customer information into company systems.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, orders, appointments, and project updates.
• Process customer payments and assist with billing inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Sales Consultant team to deliver outstanding customer service, particularly during busy periods.
• Communicate customer feedback and operational concerns to the Store Manager.
• Assist with general showroom organization and daily administrative operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, sales support, or an administrative role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to help customers.
• Understanding of the sales process and customer service best practices.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Solid math and data-entry skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Experience with scheduling or CRM software is a plus.
