Overview

: This role requires a combination of technical expertise (understanding of Engineering) and strong interpersonal skills. The candidate will be responsible for managing an existing customer base while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. The position involves frequent travel (We are seeking a road warrior. Approximately 50% overnight travel and 50% local day travel) within a designated regional territory (East Coast Territory, from Chicago to the East).

Responsibilities

: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers by providing exceptional support before and after sales. Ensure customer satisfaction with purchased equipment and optimize product utilization. Oversee the sales cycle from initial inquiry to final delivery and installation. Apply knowledge of the product portfolio to assess customer needs and recommend suitable solutions. Lead and support the creation of sales proposals, presentations, and technical recommendations. Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and reports. Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.

Qualifications

: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to evolving business needs. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills for presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address pre-sale technical challenges.
