Full description of the position

MyFlorist is the largest flower delivery company in the DMV. Over 75% of our business is providing flowers to local businesses ( hotels, restaurants, property management companies, event management companies, and Fortune 500 corporations located in the DMV) We are looking for a sales executive who will focus on growing the corporate side of our business. This is a base salary + commission position. Pursuing new and growing existing corporate and event accounts

• Research opportunities for floral sales, establish contacts and schedule sales meetings
• Must be comfortable making outbound calls (cold calls, warm calls)
• Make outbound sales calls to businesses and high-income residences (cold calling, appointment setting)
• Sell MyFlorist products and services at in person events and appointments with potential customers
• Ability to close a sale, and upsell add-ons in person and over the phone is a must Performing customer service:
• Handle incoming sales calls and internet orders
• Handle customer queries and complaints Administrative support:
• Manage corporate billing and invoices
• Check out customers in retail storefront.
• Office administration duties such as preparing invoices, creating and maintaining customer lists, Must have proven in person sales and telephone sales skills. Ideal position for someone who wants to develop a career in the flower business. Florist/flower business experience is not necessary. Job Type: Full-time
