Full description of the position

Genesis Datacom is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to join our growing sales team.

Responsibilities

include, but not limited to:

• Actively build and maintain relationships with customers across the state
• Work with architects, engineers, general/electrical contractors, end-users, etc. to provide effective IP solutions that fit each project's needs
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with the estimating team and project managers
• Manage the sales cycle from proposal to job completion
• Successfully complete continuous training to maintain knowledge of Genesis Datacom's solutions, services, partners and protocols
• Provide sales reporting to Sales Manager and Vice President in a timely and consistent manner
• Learn and maintain the Genesis Datacom standard throughout all customer interactions
• Stay up to date with market and industry trends
• Address customer needs in a timely and detailed manner
• Prepare and attend project bids

Requirements

:

• Minimum 3-years experience in sales or related position
• Experience in commercial construction industry is preferred
• Must acquire Arkansas Alarm License within 90 days of hire
• Proficient in Word, Excel and similar softwares
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid AR drivers license and excellent driving record
• Must be able to pass Arkansas State Police background check and drug screening Base + commission range: $50,000 - $100,000 (dependent upon experience)
