Summary As a Sales Coordinator at Sonesta Hotel Baltimore Inner Harbor, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team to drive revenue and enhance guest experiences across our managed properties. This position is essential to achieving our vision of excellence in hospitality management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the sales team in developing and executing effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Coordinate communication between the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Support lead generation efforts through research and outreach initiatives.
• Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review.
• Assist in organizing promotional events and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor activities.
• Facilitate training sessions for new sales staff on processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in direct or inside sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with technology sales or software solutions is a plus.
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Basic understanding of market analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Negotiation skills are beneficial but not required.
