Outside Sales -Contractor Supplies (HVAC) Wolff Bros. Supply, Inc. is one of the largest independent Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC distributors in America. We are looking for an experienced Outside Salesperson with a specialization in wholesale HVAC to add to our growing team at our Toledo location.

Duties

and responsibilities

• Build strong business relationships with existing customers to determine business needs
• Increase sales by aggressively seek out new customers and relationships
• Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
• Use promotional materials and website to conduct product demonstrations
• Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics and proposes lists of items needed to complete the job and bids if needed
• Recommends substitute or upscale items and expedites orders where necessary
• Keeps the customer aware of current products, pricing and special promotions or programs and how some of the information can be found in our quarterly flyer or other advertising literature.
• Emphasizes the services we provide and the value of these services
• Researches non-stocked items to meet customer's special needs based on knowledge of products
• Runs and/or reads sales reports and weekly sales update and maintain customer information on our system
• Works with other departments to improve profitability by reporting competitors pricing information
• Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
• Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

Requirements

:

• Prior sales experience in electrical, HVAC , plumbing or related contractor supplies
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience teaching and training others on related job tasks
• Plumbing experience; field or sales
