Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic cannabis specialist to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and guiding customers through their cannabis purchasing experience. Your expertise in cannabis products and your ability to connect with customers will help create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Duties

• Assist customers in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs and preferences.
• Provide detailed information about various strains, edibles, concentrates, and other cannabis-related products.
• Utilize effective sales techniques, including upselling and cross-selling, to enhance the customer experience.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring all products are displayed attractively.
• Stay informed about new products, industry trends, and changes in regulations to provide accurate information to customers.

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of cannabis products
• Previous experience in a dispensary and/or retail sales environments is preferred.
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
