Full description of the position

As a Sales Associate, you will:

• Stock front-end areas, including registers, shelving, coolers, and freezers, while rotating items in accordance with the FIFO system.
• Check out customers efficiently and accurately, adhering to proper cash-out procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and effectively while modeling suggestive selling techniques.
• Assist in managing customer flow and reducing wait times by addressing backed-up lines.
• Answer phones courteously and promptly.
• Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties as assigned.
• Assist with training new Cashiers/Stockers as needed.
• Arrive at the workstation on time, appropriately dressed, and ready to work; fulfill all scheduled shifts.

Working Conditions

:

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
• Standing/Walking and going up and down stairs throughout shift.
• Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to 34-40 F walk-in cooler.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, conveyor belts, and hand trucks.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience in retail sales and cash handling
• Proficient in basic math and retail math
• Ability to operate a cash register and POS systems
• Knowledge of stocking and merchandising techniques Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $17.00 per hour Shift:
