We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of retail operations. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional service, assisting with product selections, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through effective product demos to highlight features and benefits.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock levels.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Proficient in cash register operation and POS systems.
• Ability to perform basic retail math calculations accurately.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance sales performance.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift stock as needed.
