Responsible for seeking and generating new sales while servicing and maintaining current clients Regularly visit and call on regular and prospective customers to take orders. Keep management up to date on the status of each customers jobs. Explain and demonstrate products to customers Prepare quotes for customers and deliver in a professional manner. Facilitate communication between customers & inside sales staff regarding scheduling. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and inside sales staff Resolve customer problems in an efficient manner Maintain a solid knowledge base of local codes, lumber products, roofing products, and industry norms Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

and Skills Extensive experience in lumber, windows, doors, roofing, millwork and hardware. Detail oriented Highly motivated Strong written and verbal communication skills General computer skills Must have prior selling experience
