Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and horticulture, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping customers select plant material and assist with plant sourcing. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail/ wholesale environment.

Duties

• Assist customers with selecting plants.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, landscape maintenance, general horticulture.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Work effectively with computer software such as Microsoft office, and other point of sale systems.
• Assist customers with pricing, quoting and availability. Experience
• Previous experience in horticulture
• Familiarity with plant identification
• Experience in with customer relations and communication.
• Multilingual abilities are an asset for communicating with diverse customers.
• A strong willingness to learn about horticulture and expand your plant pallet! Job Type: Full-time
