Job Title: Cashier / Sales Associate Description: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Floater Cashier to work approximately 3-4 days a week, covering shifts at our North Brookfield and Southbridge locations. This position offers a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working in different store settings. Available Shifts:

• Sunday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Monday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Monday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Wednesday: 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM This schedule totals 30 or more hours per week. Flexibility to work additional shifts and at both locations is a plus.

Responsibilities

:

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Calculate the cost of products or services.
• Accept various payment methods (cash, credit, debit).
• Calculate and return change accurately.
• Maintain adequate change in cash drawers and request additional change as needed.
• Answer customer questions about products and services knowledgeably.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
• Report any equipment issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store sales goals.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and empathy.
• Process layaways, returns, and exchanges according to company policy.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Stay informed about current merchandise promotions, advertisements, and product information.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work at both the North Brookfield and Southbridge locations.
• Availability to work the listed shifts and additional shifts as needed.
• Prior retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
