Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and providing excellent customer service.

Duties

- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences - Utilize sales techniques to promote products and upsell when appropriate - Operate Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently - Maintain stock levels and ensure the store is well-organized - Supervise junior staff members when necessary - Handle cash transactions accurately - Communicate effectively with customers and team members - Drive retail sales by achieving personal and store goals - Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries Skills - Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction - Ability to upsell products effectively - Proficiency in using POS systems - Understanding of retail math for transactions and inventory management - Experience in stock management is a plus - Supervisory skills for guiding junior staff members - Competency in operating a cash register - Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues - Proven track record in retail sales - Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional customer interactions Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
