Responsibilities

include:

• Conduct business development initiatives with a focus on growing our higher education, healthcare, corporate office, mixed use and industrial markets.
• Hands-on involvement in the design process and relatable billable hour responsibilities.
• Lead and manage projects including setting priorities and developing objectives, and project financial management.
• Client management, including abilities to make fluent presentations, contract negotiations and client development activities. Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and collaborating with internal team members is necessary.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced multi-discipline environment.
• Being adaptable in an ever-changing industry. Business Development Leader minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, urban planning or landscape architecture.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience developing and managing a technical market or business development, along with selling technical services to architectural and municipal clients in WI.
• Established architectural relationships strongly preferred.
• Technical project management experience is desired.
• Professional PE or AICP PLA license.
• Success in business development planning, including developing strategic business plans, marketing activities, client development, presentation experience and proposal development.
• Proven leadership experience is highly preferred. Benefit package:
