About Us

: We are a fast-growing boutique law firm providing personalized legal services across a range of practice areas, including healthcare, corporate, and regulatory law. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our team on a part-time 1099 (independent contractor) basis. This role is ideal for a marketing professional or business development consultant with experience in the legal industry who thrives in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase firm visibility and generate qualified leads
• Manage and grow the firm's online presence, including website content, LinkedIn, and other professional platforms
• Draft and distribute newsletters, client alerts, and marketing materials
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including partnerships, speaking engagements, and networking events
• Track KPIs and performance metrics; provide monthly reports on growth and ROI
• Assist in proposal preparation, presentations, and RFP responses
• Coordinate with external vendors (e.g., designers, web developers) as needed

Qualifications

:

• 3+ years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
• Familiarity with legal industry trends, compliance considerations, and ethical advertising rules
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, WordPress, LinkedIn, Google Analytics)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (JD is a plus but not required)
