Requirements
:

- Knowledge of a data center commissioning process is a plus

Overview
: We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Technical Sales Engineer to support and grow our modular solutions offerings in the mission-critical space, including data centers, UPS pods, e-houses, and advanced power infrastructure. This role bridges technical expertise and client engagement, helping to develop innovative, compliant solutions tailored to customer needs in high-growth industries such as AI, green energy, edge computing, and telecommunications.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Provide technical insights into modular products such as data centers, e-houses, and power distribution modules.
- Stay up to date with permitting processes and compliance standards relevant to modular construction.
- Lead the development of technical proposals by coordinating with internal departments including engineering, estimating, marketing, and production.
- Ensure that all inclusions/exclusions are clearly defined in both internal documentation and customer-facing proposals.
- Deliver technical presentations to support business development and explain proposal content to clients.
- Monitor and analyze trends, innovations, and competitor activity in mission-critical infrastructure, especially related to AI, energy efficiency, and edge computing.
- Advise clients on emerging technologies and position solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
- Facilitate a seamless hand-off from pre-sales to operations, ensuring project goals and requirements are clearly communicated and documented.
- Support project execution by assisting in transition documentation, kickoff coordination, and client follow-ups.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in Technical sales, business development, or pre-sales in sectors such as data centers, IT infrastructure, power distribution, or telecom.
- Strong understanding of modular construction techniques and mission-critical infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards like Tier classifications and Uptime Institute guidelines.
- Knowledge of the commissioning process for data centers is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop customer-facing documents that clearly convey business value and technical content.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset with the ability to design compliant, innovative solutions.
