Richmond area trade association, supporting the commercial construction industry, has an immediate opening for Member Services & Sales Director. What Will I Be Doing?

• Membership Services & Sales facilitates aspects of membership growth and retention and will work closely with the Vice President to further efforts in this area.
• Acts as staff liaison to our Young Professionals Council. Attends Young Professionals networking events, and committee meetings (maintains meeting minutes/agenda, etc.).
• Attends general membership events to further connection and commitment among our association members.
• Assists with planning and execution of networking events and connects with members to generate event participation.
• Maintains membership details in our database (members, prospective members, networking event attendees).
• Provides great customer service, and is able to share the benefits of joining our association to promote new membership.
• Performs admin duties relating to member services and provides general office support (event rosters, event registrations, phone support).
• Works with the Vice President in supporting the Membership Committee and Networking & Involvement Committee (attends meetings and maintains meeting minutes/agenda, etc.). What Experience Do I Need?
• Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development or equivalent.
• Candidate must have 5 years of office experience and be proficient with MS Office and Excel.
• Team oriented.
• Dynamic personality, good communication and organizational skills.
• Sales experience a plus.
• Data base experience (preferred, not required) Why ABC?
