Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions and credit card payments.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos to encourage sales.
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant items.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting stock counts.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance store performance.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and assist in pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures and familiarity with cash registers.
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply as it enhances customer interaction.
• Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
• Ability to supervise junior staff or assist in training new employees is a plus.
