Job Description

Name: Job Title: Driver Reports to: Date: Summary: Deliver product in company vehicle accurately and safely to customer location. Provide friendly customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include the following : Load outbound shipments onto truck. Verify that loaded materials match packing slips. Deliver orders to customer site. Unload deliveries as required by customer. Obtain necessary customer signatures and complete all paperwork accurately and neatly. Plan delivery route for most efficient use of time or to meet commitment made to customers. Know and follow all traffic laws. Operate vehicle safely, courteously and in full compliance with all laws. Report citations, tickets or accidents immediately to Store Manager. If involved in accident, collect all necessary data to make an accurate report. Complete a daily inspection of your vehicle and complete the DVIR. Maintain a clean and orderly truck. Report any truck malfunctions to the Store Manager immediately. Read and interpret packing slips and other inventory documents. File documents properly. Maintain current forklift certification. Maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Maintain a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate. Provide Riley Sales with licenses and certifications. Be able to drive a 26' truck. Lift up to 50 pounds. Climb ladders and bend to move inventory. Perform basic math calculations accurately. Write legibly. Perform work in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by the Company. Promote the Store, the Company and its employees in a positive manner in all dealings with customers and vendors. Understand Company goals and objectives and work to achieve them. Understand the products sold by the Company. Take training classes as provided by Company to improve driving and warehousing skills and product knowledge. Act safely in all aspects of job while on duty. Communicate effectively and appropriately with staff, peers, other Company staff, customers and vendors. Provide outstanding, friendly customer service. Other duties, responsibilities and projects as assigned. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour
