Duties

• Prepare/Distribute a schedule of planned sales calls on a weekly basis
• Identify potential business opportunities from existing customers through regular visits with their client base
• Secure new business from new/existing customers
• Input sales call notes/action items in CRM system within 2 days of sales call
• Follow up on sales call action items in conjunction with inside sales/local staff
• Analyze Customer Reports/Statistics
• Handle daily E-mail correspondence/Phone calls from Customers and internal staff
• Regularly Meet with local Managers/GM for updates on their client base
• Generate Sales Leads for distribution to Shipco USA offices or Overseas Partners
• Schedule Calls/Entertain corporate and/or overseas visitors

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sales experience, selling international transportation is required. Experience from a NVOCC background is preferred, but a candidate with VOCC or freight forwarder experience may also apply.
• Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of inside and outside sales techniques and procedures, and can demonstrate the ability for business development, client maintenance and procurement of new accounts.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and organization skills.
• Must enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment.
