Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant and Assistant Manager's to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in the management office providing exceptional customer service and support to prospective resident's. This position requires strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of property management practices and Fair Housing Laws.

Duties

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential resident's, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Negotiate lease agreements and terms with prospective tenants to secure occupancy.
• Utilize property management software such as OneSite, Yardi, Knock, CRM, Yieldstar etc... to manage listings, applications, and resident communications.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts and legal documents related to leasing agreements.
• Implement upselling techniques to promote additional services or upgrades to prospective residents.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective marketing strategies for property listings.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect applications, leases, and correspondence in compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing resident inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assistant manager duties include but not limited to: posting of all monies, and collections.
• Bilingual and tax credit experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
• Familiarity with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations pertaining to leasing and property management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
