Job Summary

: We are looking for a versatile and proactive individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative. In this role, you will support the Senior Salesperson and Regional Sales Team. This includes helping manage customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and collaborating closely with the team to ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, you will assist with hands-on tasks like loading trucks and using the overhead crane when needed to support Operations. This role is intended as an on-ramp for capable and ambitious new talent into OMD. Relocation is a possibility. A willingness to move and embrace changing responsibilities as the company grows is not a requirement, but it is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Support Regional Sales Team:
• Assist with preparing quotes and contracts in coordination with the senior sales team members.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM software and QuickBooks.
• Coordinate with project managers and yard employees to ensure smooth project execution
• Answer customer calls, understand their project needs, and recommend appropriate products.
• Collaborate with broader sales team and management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives; these may include prospecting and generating new leads through research and cold calling 2. Yard Operations Support:
• Assist the Yard Manager with operational tasks in the yard when needed, including managing inventory & loading trucks for delivery

Qualifications

:

• Educational Background:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Skills and Experience:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and team members.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of balancing sales tasks with hands-on operational duties.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Willingness to learn construction drawings and concepts and relay them in a clear and concise manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM Software
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness to travel to other company locations, client sites and industry events as needed
• Passion for the construction industry and a desire to learn grow within the company
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
