.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills and a passion for property management with the ability to effectively negotiate leases and manage property leasing processes. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in attracting potential tenants, showcasing properties, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property showings and open houses to prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits of each unit.
• Negotiate lease terms and conditions with potential tenants to achieve favorable agreements for both parties.
• Manage the leasing process from application through contract execution, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of current market trends and property availability to provide informed guidance to clients.
• Conduct background checks, and preparing lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
• Utilize property management software such as Yardi and CRM for tracking applications, managing tenant communications, and maintaining accurate records.
• Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a professional manner to maintain positive relationships.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in sales or property leasing is preferred.
• Property leasing experience
• Yardi experience
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate for both tenants and property owners.
• Familiarity with property management and contract management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is essential.
• Excellent conflict management skills to handle tenant concerns effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Yardi software applications;
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
