Job description Smart Building, Inc is a residential and commercial remodeling, maintenance and light construction company in the Northern California. With 20+ years of experience, our team has grown to almost 100 employees. We are looking for a professional with a willingness to learn and develop as we grow the sales department. This is a hybrid position that will work on the road, remotely, and from our Concord office 1-2x a week. Travel throughout the Bay Area as needed.

Responsibilities

:

• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for work with property management clients, including turn work, painting and capital improvements.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with the project management and estimating teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project proposals.
• Networking & Industry Participation: Represent the Company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Build and maintain a robust network of industry contacts, partners, and potential clients.
• Reporting & Analytics: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal status using CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications

:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
• Experience: Experience in business development, sales, or a related field desired.
• Skills and Competencies:
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools.
• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Compensation

• $60-80k base, DOE, plus commission.
• Travel / mileage reimbursement.
• Bonus opportunities. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
