Job Summary

(Small A-Class Property 82 units) We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service and support to prospective tenants. This position requires strong administrative skills, a keen understanding of property management, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for showcasing properties, managing applications, and ensuring a smooth leasing experience for all parties involved.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
• Manage the application process, including data entry and documentation verification.
• Maintain accurate records in property management software such as Yardi or CMMS.
• Provide excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication.
• Assist in upselling features and benefits of properties to potential renters.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow-up communications.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to leasing, including LIHTC regulations.
• Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in leasing or property management is preferred but not required.
• Strong legal administrative skills with knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is advantageous.
• Ability to upsell features effectively while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
