A growing real estate management company specializing in affordable and multifamily housing is seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of residential properties. The company is committed to providing quality housing solutions with a focus on compliance, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency. They are looking for a proactive individual with a strong background in property maintenance, administrative management, and knowledge of real estate regulations-- particularly in the affordable housing space.

Responsibilities

:

• Manage all aspects of property operations including leasing, rent collection, tenant communication, and maintenance coordination.
• Ensure units and common areas are well-maintained, scheduling and following up on repairs as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records using property management software (experience with OneSite is a plus).
• Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing laws and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program requirements.
• Address resident inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety and upkeep.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective work completion.
• Track property performance and prepare regular reports on occupancy, collections, and condition.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with OneSite software is a plus.
• Excellent administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and file management.
• Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and LIHTC compliance requirements.
• Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
