Full description of the position

Medical Records Clerk in a fast-paced outpatient surgery facility. The Medical Records Clerk's primary responsibilities will include but not limited to organizing, auditing, emailing, faxing, printing, filing, and retrieving files. This position will perform all clerical functions necessary to organize, maintain, use and protect patient records. Specific assignments will vary from day to day based on the needs of the business office. The Medical Records Clerk will also be cross trained on other areas of the business office. Must have strong organizational skills and be willing to provide excellent customer service. Pay rate is based on years of experience. Medical office experience required Shift: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, M-F Closed weekends and 6 major holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $1.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
