Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, an understanding of retail operations, and a passion for helping customers find the products they need.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products, utilizing upselling techniques when appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Ensure that the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock counts as needed.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls to appropriate departments.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise.
