The primary goal of the Design Consultant is to execute contracts with clients for remodeling services.

Responsibilities

to achieve this are as follows, but not limited to:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Evaluate customer needs
• Create project scope
• Select products for remodeling projects
• Prepare drawings and design work as needed
• Strong work ethic
• Desire to work flexible hours that are sometimes out of the normal 9-5 business day
• Willingness to drive to and perform in-home consultations in both the Dayton and Cincinnati areas

Requirements

Experience in sales. Higher education and/or training preferred. Must have an aptitude and willingness to learn. Preferred Skills To be considered for a Design Consultant, the applicant will need to demonstrate the ability to be self-driven, able to take direction, and the ability to take a project concept and turn it into a project contract. The candidate must be able to employ basic drafting skills with the ability to read and interpret architectural plans and basic floor plans. Basic computer skills are required (Google Docs, Microsoft Office, etc.). Strong communication and math skills are a must.
