Lumber Sales Consultant - Thompson Lumber Co. 12829 Nimitz, Houston, TX 77015 Job Type: Full-time | Remote flexibility

About Us

: Thompson Lumber Co. is a growing supplier of high-quality lumber and building materials. We're looking for a driven, goal-oriented Sales Representative to help us expand our customer base and deliver outstanding service. What You 'll Do:

• Sell lumber, building materials, and special orders to contractors, builders, and homeowners.
• Handle customer quotes, sales orders, and follow-ups (remote quoting available via email).
• Upsell products and maximize every sales opportunity.
• Coordinate delivery or customer pickups from our lumber yard.
• Process all sales and special orders through management for approval.
• Follow our no-returns policy for all special orders. What We 're Looking For:
• Sales experience (lumber/building materials a big plus).
• Self-motivated, competitive, and hungry to close deals.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline.
• Basic computer/email skills for quoting and communication.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
