Full description of the position

DDC/Energy Management System Applications Engineer Enviromatic Systems, Inc. installs DDC control systems in commercial office buildings, schools, hospitals, colleges and government buildings. Full-time duties included but not limited to:

• Creating control drawings in VISIO
• Ensuring proper electrical wiring diagrams
• System architecture and layout
• Drafting sequence of operations
• Communicating with programmer, project manager, and sales engineer to ensure proper scope of work
• Coordination with internal and external customers
• Creating bill of materials
• Wiring termination and panel layout detailing
• Documentation of as-built manuals
• >95% of job is performed in an office environment. Minimal field work.

Requirements

:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Service driven attitude
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC control systems
• Experience with MEP plan/spec interpretation and application
• Ability to survey existing facility systems
• Excellent writing skills
• Responsiveness to customers and coworkers
• Experience with drawings and or computer graphics
• Strong sense of urgency
• Well organized and able to multi-task
