Contract Sales Agent # Houston

• _,__United States_ __ Ground floor opportunity in the AgTech industry with ability to grow with a high-profile NASA spin-off company. A sales job for a smart person who loves growing (helpful but not required), who can learn quickly, and is willing to be a voice in developing sales/management processes in a highly recognized startup. You will be in charge of the full sales cycle from opportunity qualification to the negotiation to the close, selling state-of-the-art automated grow tower appliances to consumers, institutions, and businesses.

Responsibilities

Sell Eden Grow Towers directly to Farmers Markets, Small Growers, Feed Stores, Garden Centers, Restaurants, etc... Become a subject matter expert in Controlled Environment Agriculture. Develop daily plan for sales calls, documenting effort vs. results for critical metrics. Report sales metrics weekly. Meet productivity goals. Task Management Customer Support Travel Planning Challenges Startup Environment Globally distributed team 1099 Contract straight commission position Commute necessary Must Have BTB Sales experience Self-Motivation Self-Planning experience. Self-evaluation experience Excellent Communication Skills (written, verbal) Fluent with Microsoft Office Growing experience highly desirable. CRM experience highly desirable Reliable Transportation (mileage covered)
