Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in enhancing the shopping experience, driving sales, educating customers and ensuring customer satisfaction in our retail environment.

Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette to handle customer calls and provide information about products and services.
• Communicate product features and benefits to customers, facilitating informed purchasing decisions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance the overall sales experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory levels to assist customers effectively.
• Support store operations by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean shopping environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve store performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Driver license is required
• Must be 21+ to apply
• Previous experience in retail sales is required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Proficiency in cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
• Ability to upsell products while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 - 48 per week
