Title: Battery Materials Sales Representative Client: Energy / Renewables Location: Houston, TX Type: Full-time, Direct hire Salary Range: $60,000 - $77,000 base Summary: Our client in the Energy industry is seeking a Battery Materials Sales Representative who will assist with commercial initiatives by overseeing customer accounts and fostering new business opportunities within the battery and energy storage industries. This position will collaborate closely with technical and product teams to guarantee that customer requirements are addressed efficiently and accurately. The perfect candidate will possess a solid understanding of battery materials, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a mindset focused on growth.

Duties

:

• Oversee and enhance customer relationships with energy storage and battery manufacturers.
• Facilitate onboarding and product launches for both new and existing clients.
• Pinpoint sales opportunities, collect market insights, and assist in commercial strategy development.
• Act as a liaison between clients and internal technical teams.
• Participate in client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
• Compile regular sales activity reports while offering customer feedback.

Requirements

:

• 2-3 years of experience in sales or account management within the chemical or energy materials sector
• A solid understanding of battery technology, particularly electrolytes
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
• A proactive individual with a team-oriented, solution-driven mindset
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, and Mandarin is a big plus! Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar discipline
