Job Summary

: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Used Car Salesperson to join our dynamic team in Newark. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, strong sales skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for assisting customers in finding the right vehicle to meet their needs, negotiating sales, and ensuring a positive car-buying experience.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Understand their needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles.
• Sales: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to closing the sale. Provide detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.
• Inventory Management: Stay informed about the dealership's current inventory and incoming stock. Ensure vehicles are properly displayed and presentable to customers.
• Test Drives: Arrange and accompany customers on test drives to showcase the features and benefits of vehicles.
• Negotiation: Effectively negotiate pricing and financing options with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Paperwork: Assist customers with the completion of necessary paperwork, including sales contracts, warranties, and financing agreements.
• Follow-Up: Maintain contact with previous customers for potential repeat business and referrals. Handle any post-sale issues or questions promptly.
• Product Knowledge: Continuously update your knowledge of automotive industry trends, vehicle features, and the latest inventory.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and service department to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of sales and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customers simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed.
• Basic knowledge of automotive financing and leasing options is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
