About Us

: Yalla Transport LLC is expanding its logistics and trucking operations, and we are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to help us grow. This role is crucial in securing new contracts and building relationships with companies that require freight and container transportation services. Job

Responsibilities

:

• Identify and reach out to potential clients, including shippers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships to generate new contracts and partnerships.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for expansion and competitive advantages.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing with potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution.
• Assist in dispatch operations when needed, ensuring efficient load assignments and driver coordination.
• Provide insights on truck maintenance needs to ensure optimal fleet performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide guidance on DOT requirements.
• Track sales performance and provide regular updates to management.
• Attend industry events, networking meetings, and trade shows to promote the company's services.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the logistics, trucking, or freight industry.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to expand business operations.
• Familiarity with trucking, port operations, and container logistics is a plus.
• Dispatch experience, truck maintenance knowledge, and DOT regulations expertise are a big plus.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
