Overview

: Medium size family business seeking a trustworthy, motivated individual with at least 7 years of experience in Warehouse management facilities, and equipment. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure efficiency in managing inventory, shipping, and receiving processes. FOOD INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Duties

: - Responsible for Maintenance of building grounds - Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency. - Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts. - Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners to streamline supply chain operations. - Oversee transportation planning and manage transportation management systems. - Monitor production planning to meet customer demands while minimizing costs. - Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Provide leadership, training and coaching for employees when procedures or standard work is not being followed. -Interview hires, take disciplinary action and discipline as required -Inspects physical conditions of warehouse and equipment -Responsible to maintain a clean, organized and safe environment throughout the warehouse inside and outside - Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

: - Proven experience in warehouse management, including dispatching, profit loss, and supply chain management. - Strong budgeting skills to control costs effectively. - Proficiency in operations management with a focus on transportation planning. - Familiarity with transportation management systems for efficient logistics operations. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities to lead a team effectively. -Must speak English and Spanish.
