: Matr Boomie, a sustainable, handmade gift and decor brand, is seeking a Sales manager. We're looking for an experienced professional who has a natural Sales personality, a proactive problem solver, love for design and sustainability and passionate about driving sales and marketing initiatives. Matr Boomie is a for-profit, fair trade certified company with the mission of creating economic and social well-being for marginalized artisan communities in India through responsible trade. We work with over 1,500 retailers across the United states from mom-and-pop shops to National Chains such as Pottery Barn, Anthropologie and Natural Grocers. WILL ONLY CONSIDER APPLICANTS WITH AT LEAST 3 YEARS WHOELSALE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN THE GIFT, LIFESTYLE, DECOR, JEWELRY OR ACCESSORIES INDUSTRIES. Position

Overview

: As the Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in leading our sales team. Your role will encompass managing key accounts, leading a team of 5 across several departments, overseeing sales reps, and collaborating with operations and design teams to enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Sales Management: Lead B2B sales, manage key accounts, and oversee rep performance.
• Tradeshow Representation: Lead and represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
• Market Understanding: Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities.Customer Service: Ensure top-notch service for our clients and address any issues that arise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations and design teams to align sales and marketing efforts with company goals.

Qualifications

:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a management role
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in the gift and home decor industry, must have extensive experience of working with national chains. Existing relationships are a plus.
• Skills: Proficient in sales management and customer service. Strong experience in merchandising and people management.
• Travel: Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Personality: Willing to lead, Hands-on, multi-tasker, team player and a go-getter with a proactive approach. Why Join Us?
