Position Summary

The Aloft Fort Worth downtown boasts 180 rooms with nearly 4500 square feet of meeting space. This person will be responsible for booking groups / business with more than 25 rooms on peak night, social events, and corporate groups. You may also have other market segments depending on property needs. Essential

Responsibilities

• Meets with and maintains rapport with individuals and contacts in order to produce groups and/or convention business, to include Room Sales, F & B Sales and Catering/Banquet.
• Schedules conventions and business group activities at the hotel.
• Maintains liaison with other hotel - level departments to facilitate services agreed upon by the sales office and prospective clients
• Maintains good rapport with area Chamber of Commerce, and other local civic groups and companies.
• Ensures sales activities meet or surpass profit plan.
• Develops and maintains client files.
• Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies.
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed Business Transient and corporate group revenue goals through telephone prospecting, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
• Produce revenue through directly soliciting business via aggressive prospecting, making presentations, developing contracts, negotiating and closing sales.
• Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both orally and in written form to previous, current and potential clients. Experience Required
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a hotel environment
• At least 3 year in a sales role
• Great customer service and follow up skills
• A bachelors degree is desired
• Microsoft Office and Hotel CRM experience highly desired Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
