A food manufacturing company is seeking a Bilingual English/Japanese Outside Sales Rep to join their team in Irvine, CA. This position is responsible for developing new clients as well as maintaining existing clients. An associate 's degree, 1-2 years of outside sales experience, the ability to speak English and Japanese, and the ability to work weekends/travel for business (compensatory leave provided) are required. This is a full-time, exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits. Ability to speak a third language is a big plus but not required Bilingual English/Japanese Outside Sales Rep

Duties

: -Work directly with key contact persons of the company, customers, and clients, for promotion, trade show, demonstration, and other special projects. -Analyze various sales data, past and present, and prepare sales reports on business transactions and presentation materials for sales promotions and meetings. -Conduct market research via store visits, trade publications, trade shows, web monitoring, etc. -Apply sales data analysis and propose sales strategies that match the market trends and needs. -Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationships. -Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments. -Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads. -Will need to travel in the US and to foreign countries for business activities to promote sales. Bilingual English/Japanese Outside Sales Rep Skills: -Must be able to speak English and Japanese -Must have 1-2 years of Outside Sales experience -Must have an associate's degree or higher -Must be able to work weekends/travel for business trips -Ability to speak a third language is a big plus but not required -Excellent relationship building skills
