Job Summary

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience, while building an ongoing customer base. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Duties

• Greet customers and assist them in locating products.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and Point-Of-Sale system.
• Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays, and managing stock counts.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory counts and sales reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance.
• Willingness to provide ideas and feedback in an effort to create a better experience for customers

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system (training provided).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
